Stephanie received her M.A. degree in sociology from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the department of sociology at Purdue University. Stephanie conducts research on health inequalities in the U.S., writing about issues such as provider-patient interactions, pain assessment biases, social stigma, and intersectionality in healthcare. Stephanie is also a trained dancer and believes that art and travel are some of the best ways to learn about society. Luke received his M.A. degree in sociology from the University of Northern Colorado. Luke conducts community-based research, writing about topics such as Islamophobia, urbanism, and racial inequality.
